Trevor Anderson is a filmmaker from Alberta, now based in Montreal.
His feature film Before I Change My Mind had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, where lead actor Vaughan Murrae received the Boccalino d’Oro Award for Best Acting Performance. The film was released theatrically in North America and now streams in Canada on Crave.
Trevor’s short films have screened at many A-list and LGBTQ international film festivals, including three times at Sundance, three times at SXSW, and twice at the Berlinale — where his musical documentary The Man That Got Away won the DAAD Short Film Prize.
Trevor’s films often combine elements of autofiction with original music. He is a drummer and co-founder of the art-rock sextet The Wet Secrets.
